New weekly rides - Beginner Friendly!!!
Mike and i have been discussing this and i think we are going to add a couple novice friendly rides to our schedule.
We will be doing friday night rides in Frick that will last about 2 hours and get in some work on technique on iron gates, nature trail and rollercoaster that will be a nice easy pace so beginner to intermediate folks can concentrate on building skills and not trying to keep up with the pack. These rides will start this week and we will be meeting at the tennis court parking lot at braddock and biddle at 6pm. try to get there right on time so we can get the whole ride in before dark (again, trying to keep it beginner friendly)
we will also be doing longer easy paced rides on saturday afternoons at some of the less technically demanding trails around here. we are aiming for 4-5 hours of riding at places like bavington or south park or settler’s cabin. we have to finalize a time but i’m thinking that we will probably meet at thick around 1pm and caravan to the ride from there. this ride might not start till next weekend, but after that it will be a regular weekly ride.

Could we statr the rides earlier. I was thinking aroud 11am or so. Dont know how many people like to start early.

i cant do 11. the earliest i can do on saturdays is noon. my mornings are already all booked up…

There was 5 of us. A lttle slow but good. Hope it built some confidence for people. It was posted ever fri at frick

Hey! Are you still doing the beginner friendly rides? I am just starting out again and they sound like great rides. I have ridden Iron Gate but need skills/ confidence work.

yes, mike is leading the ride this friday, and hopefully (if the doc say my hand is unbroken enough)

GERAT!! when and where do you meet? Is the ride open to anyone? there are two of us interested.
