Wednesday December 31st – Bavington
Ride in the snow with partially frozen mud underneath and then possibly go to the OTB (Over the Bar) Cafe for its Grand Opening afterwards. OTB is located between 25th and 26th streets on East Carson. It used to be called Quagmires but is now a bike themed cafe/bar with new owners.

As it turned out Alex and I decided not to drive in the snow to Bavington and opted to ride up through Schenley to Frick an a route very similar to the “A Balmy Heaven” race course. We changed it up a bit once we got in Frick but it was pretty close. Great conditions: 2-3 inches of light fluffy snow over almost entirely frozen grippy ground, another beautiful night ride.
