Thursday October 29th – Bike Polo
This Thursday and every Thursday we will be playing bike polo at our now well lit North Side court. It is located behind the Allegheny Traditional 6-8 School which is on N. Commons St. in the Allegheny Center Park. Everyone is welcome and I even bring a loaner bike for guests to ride. We usually drive over from the South Side around 6:30 PM if you would like a lift.

Now that we have lights that the city provided the next step is to make this court more polo court-ish more holes in the fence need to be filled some cracks need to be filled and I’d like to find a way to make the poles as non obstructive as possible by creating some kind of diversion or gaurds around them to keep the ball moving and in play as much as possible. Customizing this court may be a possibility although it is still the northside and people do mess with this area, we’ll see. Lights are awsome and last as far as we know up untill 10:30pm!!
