Wednesday January 6th – North Park Fixed
All the cool kids are doing it. Flip that wheel around and bolt a disc-cog on there. Bam! Its fixed. That’s the ticket for winter simplicity. No rear brake, no freewheel/freehub mech to freeze up and a better feel for the limited traction you have. It makes any boring old trail into a new exiting adventure. Going over logs is a whole new experience. Of course you don’t have to ride a fixed gear but you might not have as much fun.
